Alison Morse Delicate Byzantine Chainmaille Necklace in Oxidized Copper is a handcrafted artisan necklace featuring the intricate Byzantine chainmaille pattern, one of the oldest chainmaille designs in history, dating back approximately 300 BC. Similar to a classic box chain, this necklace combines traditional craftsmanship with a bold yet refined design.

Each necklace is entirely handmade in the studio, beginning with individual copper rings formed from wire and carefully connected link by link. The necklace is finished with a forged hook clasp and designed to be strong enough for everyday wear while remaining elegant enough for special occasions. The oxidized copper finish adds depth and character to the intricate chainmaille design.
